Tomorrow's workforce is in school today. The Academies of Anne Arundel County Public Schools are proiding relevant training to meet area business needs. The Anne Arundel Academies, Inc. needs your support as we support your growing workforce needs. The Academies are comprehensive Tech Prep Completer Programs in the Anne Arundel County Public School System that respond to the employment needs of industry. All Academy courses are infused with reading, mathematics, science, writing and technology, as well as oral communications and problem-solving skill development. In addition to the Academy curriculum, the students also participate in an industry-specific paid internship, a college course, industry field trips, job shadowing, and guest speaker presentations. Anne Arundel County Public Schools has six different Academies: The Academy of Finance (AOF), The Academy of Information Technology (AOIT), The Academy of Hospitality & Tourism (AOHT), The Academy of Law and Public Service (ALPS), The Academy of Marketing & Management (AOM), and the Academy of Teaching Professions.
